This  trip  is  one  of  the  attractive  itineraries  with  elements  of  a  sea  journey.  After  sightseeing  and  visiting  museums  in  Irkutsk,  tourists  will  go  by  bus  to  Listvyanka  village  and  stay  in  hotel,  private  houses  or  stay  with  a  local  family  in  the  village.  Tourists  will  see  a  style  of  life  of  the  local  people  of  the  village,  walk  along  the  shore  of  the  lake  or  climb  up  the  nearest  high  mountain.  On  the  next  day  tourists  cross  Baikal  by  boat,  enjoying  a  wide  panorama  of  the  lake  and  snow - covered  mountains  of  the  Baikal  shoreline.  Fresh,  cool  Baikal  air  and  transparent  water  of  the  lake  create  a  calm  and  relaxing  atmosphere  onboard.

Tourists  are  offered  to  stay  a  couple  of  nights  in  Ulan - Ude,  the  capital  of  the  Buryat  autonomous  republic,  which  is  the  main  center  of  Buddhism  in  Russia  and  the  center  of  the  national  culture,  customs,  traditions  of  the  Buryat  people.

Now  you  may  see  the  golden  statue  of  Buddha  in  Datsan.

Day  1  Arrival  in  Irkutsk.  Transfer  to  hotel,  check  in.

Citytour  around  Irkutsk  including  visiting  the  place  of  foundation  of  Irkutsk  in  the  17-th  century,  churches, wooden    houses,  squares  and  old  streets. In  the  afternoon  museums,  Decembrists’  or  the  Local  lore  museum.

Day  2  Transfer  by  bus  to  Baikal.  On  the  way  the  museum  of  the  wooden  architecture. Arrival  in  Listvyanka.

Check  in  hotel.  Excursion  through  the  village,  see  the  Nicholas’  wooden  church. In  the  afternoon  Limnological  museum.  Overnight  in  Listvyanka.

Day  3  Transfer  to  the  local  pier,  boarding  on  a  boat.

Sea  transfer  to  the  opposite shore  of  Baikal.  Arrival  in  Kluevka  (shore  village)  in  five  hours.

Further  transfer  to  Ulan - Ude  is  provided  by  bus,  180 km. The road  from  Kluevka  stretches  along  the  transsiberian  railway, first  on  the  shore  of  Baikal  then  along  the  Selenga  river.  Arrival  in  the  city  in  the  evening.

Check  in  hotel  in  Ulan - Ude.  Overnight  in  Ulan - Ude.

Day  4  A  bus  trip  to  Datsan  –  the  Buddhist  church  at  35  km  away  from  Ulan - Ude.

See  the  morning  Lamas’  service.  In  the  afternoon  city  sightseeing, you  will  see  the  biggest

head  of  Lenin,  a  nice  national  opera  and  ballet  theatre.  Visiting  the  open  air  ethnographical  museum.

In  the  evening  dinner  of  the  Buryat  national  cuisine  with  a  Buryat  folklore.

Day  5  Trip  to  the  Old - believers’  village.  See  their  style  of  living.

Semeisky  folklore  concert.  Taste  the  village  meals.

Day  6  Departure  by  flight  /  train.
